Education during coronavirus pandemic...

…is different. Teachers are facing a new, unknown and unfriendly situation.
Often being left alone, with the need of searching, and vice versa, being discouraged.
Supporters of the traditional education style face special difficulties and do not really understand the form of remote learning. They prefer blackboard and chalk to modern-day teaching. In their opinion remote learning is about sending a list of tasks, often in immense amounts, which makes children dream of going back to school.
Fortunately, there are teachers who work perfectly. They belong to a team called “Superbelfrzy”. Remote learning is not a problem for them. They have been teaching with the use of new technologies for many years. Their activities are an inspiration for many educators.

Just take a look at the blog of “Superbelfrzy” or their fanpage on Facebook and you can see how genuine education should look like, what needs to be done to encourage students to learn.

And it is not just about technology. Marta Florkiewicz-Borkowska always says that relationships are the most important and the education process is based on them. She is a tutor, teacher and mentor for many people. Webinars with Marta are widely appreciated because she is a professional and practical person and puts her heart and soul into preparing them. Marta is involved, both with her students and personally, in many social activities. Now, she organizes video meetings with her pupils using Teams.
Zyta Czechowska and Jolanta Majkowska put their hearts into education for children with disabilities. But not only. They also spread knowledge about new technologies in education, host a number of webinars and share their experiences on their blog – specjalni.pl.

Joanna Apanasewicz, Aleksandra Schoen-Kamińska i Wiesława Mitulska work in an innovative way with children between seven and nine years old (Primary School) and show that using remote learning with small children is not only possible but also satisfying.

I could mention a lot more teachers because currently the Superbelfrzy team consists of 150 educators and there are many teachers who work perfectly without being a member of any team as well.
It is them we can learn from and thanks to them we may hope that education will survive at its best.
